Before I met Susan I spent years wishing I could get my money life “together”. I had the intention of doing so, but every time I thought I was getting ahead, something would happen and get me all messed up, again. I was in a vicious cycle and I didn’t know how to get out of it. She has helped me to understand what I was dealing with inside myself, and work through those issues. Susan gave me exactly the kind of support that I needed. She let me cry, without judging me, and celebrated with me when I had a realization. I honestly never thought that I would ever have any kind of a handle on my finances, yet today I find myself feeling more in control of my money life, and being able to be friends with it instead of having a love/hate/fear relationship with it. Every time I handed her my check for payment, I knew that it was some of the best money ever spent.

I went to Susan Bross trying to find a solution to my financial troubles. I had spent my whole adult life in credit card debt and in financial stress and at forty two I was tired of being in crisis. For over twenty years I had worked long hours some times as much as 80 hour weeks only to find myself stuck in the same patterns of debt and crisis. In my first session with Susan she asked me about my family background and with out any other questions outlined my money patterns precisely. I was stunned because she hadn’t even looked at my banks statements or seen a budget and she had just explained my problem better than anyone ever had. Then she showed me a simple guideline to keep me out of debt and to eventually lead to lasting financial health. In 18 months I’ve paid off more than $15,000 in debt and for the first time in 20 years I’ve managed to save money for retirement. At my current rate I’ll be totally debt free by 2012. I have real hope that I can have a life of security and ease. I give Susan my highest recommendation

I just wanted to say thank you for your help and to give you a quick update. We had a goal of saving $15,000 for college tuition. As of Dec. 24, we have over $15,000 in his account! I have saved most of the money ($4,000 so far) to give a trip to New Zealand. I have seven accounts set up for various reasons and it's worked so well for us. I've recommended this to several friends who struggle with their finances, especially working toward common financial goals with their spouses. It was hard work and time-consuming getting them all set up, but like you said, a lot of work up front and then it's easy! We're doing really well in this area, and we owe so much of it to you in helping us get organized. Rich and I are valuing each other and what's important to each other and that's wonderful. It was hard for us to choose to spend the money on your services, but if people only realized how helpful it is long-term, they would do it in a minute. Rich is thankful that we did that and tells me how much he appreciates my initiative in helping us to save money for what's important.

I took a workshop from you in 1999. I was going through some old papers the other day and was reminded how much your workshop has helped me with my personal finances. I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was 25 at the time I took the class. Since then I’ve started my own business and am about to close on a house in San Francisco.

Susan Bross has qualities which, from my experience, are rare indeed. She has remarkable skill at getting to the heart of questions. Add to this her keen fiscal street sense and viable solutions come rapid-fire. Bross has exceptional patience, compassion and wisdom. Having a form of dyslexia which makes coping with numbers and mathematics nearly impossible, I am extremely fortunate to have been a client of Susan Bross.
